Structured learning

Structured, formal learning is a core component of all the Academy's French immersion courses. It is held in our stylish premises that include state-of the art interactive learning technologies. The program includes interesting and varied methods such as the integrated aural-oral approach, vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and most importantly, pronunciation and intonation.

Informal learning program (Golf program)

For golf enthusiasts, there’s the opportunity to supplement your language learning experience with a golf clinic including a round of golf with a pro at one of Crans-Montana’s acclaimed golf courses.  There are several popular golf courses in Crans-Montana and in the surrounding environs. The prestigious 18-hole course, Severiano Ballesteros, was voted the best course in the country by Swiss professionals and the Jack Nicklaus course rated third in the Swiss rankings. Severiano Ballesteros is also home to the OMEGA European Masters Tournament. Its seventh hole has been classified as one of the finest in the world.

Australian Greg Norman, who is one of the world’s most famous golfers, has joined OMEGA’s family of brand ambassadors. Other ambassadors include Sergio Garcia and Michelle Wie, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, actors George Clooney and Nicole Kidman, supermodel Cindy Crawford and astronaut Buzz Aldrin among others.

Beginner
This course is ideal for those who wish to learn the basics of the game or refresh the key fundamentals, taking into account individual needs. You will learn how to swing, chip, pitch, putt and play bunkers more effectively and will receive personal assessment from your teaching professional. Gaining solid technique will also improve your confidence.

The course includes on-course playing lessons and video analysis. It also covers Rules and Etiquette to allow you to pass your Green Card, recognized at golf courses worldwide.

Intermediate
Improve your skills and reduce your handicap. Golf professionals will help you identify areas of your game that need improvement, such as your technique and mental approach. You will appreciate what makes your game work more effectively. The course includes on-course playing lessons and video analysis.

Advanced
This course caters for those who are proficient in golf and who wish to reduce their handicap. You will receive personal on-course instruction from a teaching professional. Among the points covered will be bunker play, approach shots and other situational play, as well as advanced techniques. The course includes on-course playing lessons and video analysis.
